The Artist Meets the Masters series

These four paintings are really the core truth of my work from its very inception. I was intrigued by the works of these incredible artists, and, while mine are not like theirs, their use of color , texture, and the power of their brush stroke was definitely an influence on how I looked at my world, and shaped my images. In this series, I’ve paid my favorites homage, and am so ever grateful for the monumental effect it had on my art expression.

We acquired what looks to be an oil titled “white wicker chair” from a gallery then called art wagon gallery in Scottsdale az. Could this be your work. We love it! Thanks

Hello Carlos, I’ve been authoring a book this past year, and didn’t read your post to me until now. Many apologies. Yes “White Whicker Chair” is my painting. I was with Sue Brown’s Art Wagon Gallery in the 70s. I would appreciate having a photo of it for my archives if that would be convenient for you. Thank you for contacting me.
